  A special note about units: [ ... ] Note that when multiple variants are listed, the
  most recent (and most preferred) format is the first listed.
  
  The square bracket syntax specifies only the enclosed values as high
  resolution. Whenever child elements need high resolution, they have to use
  square brackets on their own, as in this example:
  
   Symbol['!' 12]                       # 12 is a high resolution value
   (  # <--- this pair is only for grouping and can never be a square
           SymbolLine[0 4500 0 5000 8]  # high resolution
           SymbolLine(0   10 0   35 8)  # standard resolution
   )
