Subject: C++ postscript documents uploaded

Although I *personally* much prefer the TeXInfo format on-line
documentation, I would like to express my appreciation to Jon and Paul
for their hard (?) and valuable (!) efforts in producing and uploading
Postscript versions of the documents.

A suggestion: just as the core distribution has standardized on a few
extensions to make the rapidly proliferating .zip files manageable, we
should standardize the .ps archives as well. I would nominate
aaa999PS.ZIP, where aaa999 corresponds to the package documented.
Then gcc257bn is GCC binaries, gcc257sr is GCC sources, gcc257dc is
(TeXInfo) documents, and (ta da!)

			       gcc257ps

is the Postscript version of the docs for GCC 2.5.7. I'm not wedded
to this particular scheme, but would like to see something
standardized so we can tell the newbies "aaa999ps.zip is the PS
version of the docs for aaa999; if there isn't such a file then nobody
has uploaded PS documents yet".
