Subject:	system ()

Does anybody know what the problem is with the system function?  My machine
crashes at random after it is called.  I've had the problem under MS-DOS 4.01
as well as DR DOS 6.0, with a variety of TSR's and memory configurations.  I'm
running 1.09, with the GCC 2.3.3 update.
